Principal Mario Tijerina explained that, "School is to inspire and encourage future leaders, using creative and meaningful experiences for promotion of academic and social growth" and we at FTA fully support their Mission!
Volunteers really enjoyed working with the students to plant trees and work on maintenance in the community garden created to help teach students in this 98% poverty school the importance of proper nutrition, as well as painting murals inside with the words "Trust, Citizenship, Respect, Caring, Fairness and Responsibility," all of which we preach and live by here at FTA.
